In the drawing gallery, the George Adams gallery presents a debut exhibition of new work by AMER KOBASLIJA. Titled STUDIO PAINTINGS, the exhibition is comprised of small-scale oils on panel inspired by the artist's cramped workspace, which he portrays in minute detail, and from an often vertiginous point of view.
Kobaslija, born and raised in Bosnia, a recent graduate of the MFA program at Montclair State University's School of the Arts in New Jersey was awarded a Joan Mitchell Foundation grant in 2005.
